I'm Emma Rice - a psychotherapist dedicated to helping adults navigate life's challenges with honesty, compassion, and courage.
I offer a relaxed, supportive space where you can fully be yourself - no masks, no pressure. My approach blends person-centred therapy with elements of psychodynamic thinking and CBT, allowing us to explore both the deeper roots of your struggles and the practical steps towards change.
Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, or simply unsure of who they are or where they are going. Together, we focus on healing from past trauma, improving self-worth and working toward meaningful life goals. I believe that therapy isn't about fixing you - it's about reconnecting you with the strength, insight and clarity you already hold.
My style is warm, intuitive and gently challenging. I create a safe environment where difficult topics are met with care, curiosity and deep respect. I've worked with children in the past, but my current focus is on supporting adults through life's complexities - including trauma, self-harm, identity issues, alleviating stress, and relationship struggles.
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapy, and I offer therapy face-to-face in my home office, remotely or via email - whatever best suits your needs and comfort. Above all, I value honesty, confidentiality and ethical practice, and I am committed to walking alongside you as you grow, heal and rediscover what truly matters to you.
